Workflow: Resume the workflow to the last step after submission edit

I have a question about multistep approval workflow.

Let's assume in a 3-step series approval, the first two approves, and the final approver rejects with a comment. Now after the responder Edits and rectifies the submission, I don't see an option to resume the workflow from the third step, since first two are already approved.

The only I see is to Enable or Disable restarting the workflow. Enabling starts from step 1 and disabling doesn't kick in the workflow at all.

    Please help.

    Hi Shailesh,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, that is not possible. When a user edited the submission, the workflow will restart to step 1.

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Also in need of this functionality - we have a flow designed, but need a way to have it go back to the point it was at when rejected, or allow for a comment and alteration without restarting from scratch

    Hi Shailesh,

Unfortunately, we can only restart the workflow from the first step. My colleague already escalated this as a feature request. Rest assured, we'll circle back to this thread as soon as we received a response from the relevant team.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we’re looking into this.
