Hi guys, is there a way I can use this function to calculate a date change?

What I'm trying to achieve is for my customers to submit a start date, then for that date to automatically pre-fill an end date field 7 days later. The reason I need the date field is the form automatically goes to a table with a calendar view that displays the events start and end date, however I'm moving to having a fixed end date of 7 days later.

My other option is to limit an end date input field to 7 days or less later than the start date, if that is possible but I couldn't find a way to do it.

    Hi Shire of Gingi,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it is not possible to add a date and condition to display a 7-day later date. You can use conditional logic to display 7 days later date. Check out my screencast below:

    Hi Shire of Gingi,

You need to add two date picker fields and add update calculated condition on it. Let me show you how:

    1. Add two date picker fields on your form. Is there a way I can use condition to calculate a date change? Image 1 Screenshot 40
    2. Now, let's set up the conditions:

    a. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    b. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.

    c. Now, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Update/Calculated Field. Is there a way I can use condition to calculate a date change? Image 2 Screenshot 51

    e. Set the conditions like you see below:Is there a way I can use condition to calculate a date change? Image 3 Screenshot 62

That's it. Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
