Hello, when trying to check out, my clients cannot submit their order forms. It has a “please wait” and it just keeps thinking. Also, when I looked into it on my end, I noticed that when I tried linking my square , it does the same thing so I’m not sure if the two things are connected. Here’s my form
You can find my form "Halloween 2024 preorder" at: https://form.jotform.com/242907457683165

Hi Mollie,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
When you integrate your form with any payment processors, please note the form will only b submitted if the payment is collected successfully. I've gone ahead and cleared your form caches. Can you give it another try and let us know what happens? If you're still having the same issue, please help us capture the screen video using some third party application like loom, and we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Hello again, still happening. I tried checking out with both credit card and Apple Pay and it just stays at the please wait step. Could it be because we’re not on a computer, but instead on our phones?

Hi Mollie,
When I reviewed your form, I found you haven't integrated your form with square. Integrating a Square account with your form is easy. Let me walk you through it:
1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element, on the top-left side of the page and then click on Payments tab.
2. Under the Payments tab, click on Square to add it to your form.
3. In the menu on the right side of the page, click on Connect to connect your Square account (if you want to do a test, choose Test Mode in the Mode option).
4. After connecting to your Square account in the popup window that appears, scroll down and click on the Continue button at the bottom right corner.
That's it. Now your form is integrated with Square, and you can start collecting payments. You can also check out our guides about How to Integrate Form with Square and How to Enable Payment Authorization for more detailed information.
Can you integrate your form with Square and give it another try and let us know what happens? If you're still having the same issue, we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution. After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

I will try, but when I tried twice earlier, it also gives me the same “please wait” continually and never goes through. Also, most of your suggestions are walking me through your desktop website. I do not have a desktop. I’ve always used Jotform from my phone and haven’t had these issues, but it makes it a little hard to get to where you’re talking about

Hi Mollie,
I understand the issue, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.
We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we’re looking into this.

Hi Mollie,
I've reviewed your screen recording and can confirm that when you try to connect your form with Square using Jotform mobile application it stuck at connecting interface, I've tried it on my IOS and Android mobile and the same thing happened to me, so I created a ticket about it and escalated this to our Developers. They are working on the issue as fast as they can. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know.
Additionally, I've also tested it on my Laptop and it is working fine. Can you use a desktop/laptop to connect your form with Square? Once it is connected, you'll be able to use the form on mobile as well. Once it is connected successfully, it will show connected via Square, you can also check out screenshot below:
We appreciate your patience while we work on a solution.

Hi, I was able to connect my square. I see that last time I was able to connect several payment options- Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay and credit/debit. Is there a way to connect all again or did something change?

Hi Mollie,
No, I'm afraid that it is not possible to connect several payment options in a single form. But, you can create multiple payment options using multiple forms and embedding them in a single form. We’ll need to use the iFrame Embed widget, a Single Choice element, and the Conditions feature along with the existing payment gateway. Let me show you how to set it up:
First, we'll create a form for the additional Payment option:
- On your My Forms page, click on Create Form.
- Select Start From Scratch and then choose a Form Layout.
- On the Form Builder page, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the screen.
- Under the Payment tab, choose the other Payment Integration that you want to use.
Now, let's add the iFrame Embed widget to the form you want to use with two payment options:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the screen.
- Click on the Widgets tab, search for iFrame Embed and drag and drop it to your form.
- In the menu on the right, under the General tab, paste the Frame URL of the other form.
- Next to the Iframe Embed widget, click on the Gear icon and change the Height option as you want.
Then, let's add a Single Choice element:
- While in Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the screen.
- In the menu on the left, under the Basic Elements menu, drag and drop a Single Choice element.
- Change the label and the options so that users can choose the payment method.
Finally, we need to set up conditions. Let's do it:
- In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
- Then, click on the Show/Hide Field option.
4. Set up the conditions as you see below and click on Save:
Now, you'll be able to have more than one Payment option on your form. Check out my screencast below to see how it works:
Give it a try and reach out again if you need any help.

Hi Mollie,
Thanks for using Jotform. I'm happy to share that with our latest update (version 2.11.16), this issue has been resolved through the new Reusable Payment Connection feature. You can see how it looks in the screenshot below.
Please note that this feature is being rolled out gradually and may not yet be enabled for all of our users. If you'd like, we can enable it for your account.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
