    obrigada

    Hi anahounie,

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Portuguese Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Portuguese, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I understand that you have been subscribed to this plan for three years and would like to have the available space reset at the end of each year, rather than accumulating. This is to avoid having to upgrade, which you do not want to do.

To clarify, the Bronze plan offers 1 GB of available space and this space is cumulative, meaning it does not automatically revert at the end of the subscription period. When you delete files, the used space is freed up and becomes available for use again, so the space is not permanently occupied by deleted files.

As for the cost, the Bronze plan costs approximately $400 per year, which may be a bit steep depending on your situation. There are currently no specific discounts for those who need to upgrade due to space usage, but you may consider adjusting your form's usage to optimize the available space.

If the space on the Bronze plan does not meet your needs and upgrading is not a viable option for you, one alternative may be to manage your files and submissions to avoid excessive accumulation. If you need help optimizing your usage or better understanding the features of your plan, we are available to guide you.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need help.

Hi , thanks for your reply. The problem is that I AM deleting files but space is not increasing with that action. That is why I concluded that there is no reset in the space when the subscription year ends. Can you correct this bug, then?
    Thanks

    Hi Ana,

From what you described, it seems you have already deleted submissions and purged the trashed entries, yet the storage usage still shows a higher value than the actual size of your files. This can happen because deleted submissions remain in the Trash for 30 days before they are permanently deleted, and only after purging the Trash will the storage space be freed up. Since you mentioned purging and waiting for recalculation, the issue might be related to a delay in the system updating the storage usage or some residual data still occupying space.

I suggest checking the trash because the reach upload space is about the attachments of the form responses. Let me show you how:

    1. Go to My Tables and select the table where you want to delete form responses or uploads.
    2. Click on View table.

Deleted Uploads have been purged but it shows still upload space almost reached Image 2 Screenshot 71 Screenshot 30 Screenshot 30 Screenshot 30To delete a single entry, proceed as follows:

    1. Open the menu of the entry via the three-dot symbol in the first column of the table.
    2. Select Move to trash in the menu.

Deleted Uploads have been purged but it shows still upload space almost reached Image 3 Screenshot 82 Screenshot 41 Screenshot 41 Screenshot 41

    3. Confirm that you would like to delete the entry.

Form response upload limit reached Image 3 Screenshot 82 Screenshot 93 Screenshot 52 Screenshot 52 Screenshot 52If you want to remove form responses from the trash:

    1. Open the Main Tab menu using the icon with the three-dot symbol next to it.
    2. Click the Trashed Entries menu and in the Trash area on the right, select the submissions you would like to delete and then select Delete Forever.
    3. Finally, select Delete in the confirmation dialog.

Solicitação para redefinir o espaço de upload Image 1 Screenshot 63 Form responses are stored in the Trash for 30 days and are still counting as form submissions. Also, this allows you to restore the submissions if needed. You can also delete multiple entries at once. Here we have a tutorial: How to delete form submission data that you are welcome to view.

If you only would like to delete the upload, proceed as follows. In the table, you will now see all form responses that contain uploads. You can now delete the entire form response as described above, or just the upload.

    1. In a form response, click in the column where the upload is.
    2. You can now download the upload and also remove it if you click on the trash icon.
    3. Confirm that you really would like to delete the upload.

Ok. Today this is the space I have, I am sending the print and in 30 days I will check again to see how it app ears. Interestingly, when I saw the space sooner today is was around 800 MB, now it says 408 MB, something happened.
    Thanks

    Hi Ana,

To clarify, when you delete submissions or files in Jotform, they first move to the Trash where they remain for 30 days before being permanently deleted. During this period, the storage space they occupy is still counted against your quota. Only after you purge the Trash by permanently deleting those entries will the storage space be freed up and reflected in your available quota.

Sometimes, even after purging the Trash, there can be a short delay in the system recalculating and updating your storage usage, which might explain the fluctuations you noticed (such as the space changing from around 800 MB to 408 MB).

We appreciate your patience while the system updates your storage space. If you continue to experience issues or notice discrepancies after 30 days, let us know, and we will assist you further.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
