Hi Husf,
Our Portuguese Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Portuguese, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question. Jotform’s authentication code prompt appears as a security measure when a login is detected from a new device, browser, or location. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access. If you're seeing this frequently, it could be due to:
- Logging in from different devices or browsers.
- Using a shared login across multiple users or departments.
- Your browser clearing cookies or using incognito/private mode.
- Your hospital network cycling through IP addresses or using a VPN.
While the frequency of these prompts cannot currently be customized on standard accounts, here are a few suggestions to reduce them:
- Use a single login per user instead of sharing credentials. You can add others to your workspace using Jotform Enterprise if you need multi-user access with centralized control.
- Avoid incognito or private browsing, which prevents your session from being remembered.
- Access Jotform from the same device and browser when possible to maintain a trusted session.
If you’re part of a larger team and require consistent access without authentication interruptions, Jotform Enterprise supports multiple users and simultaneous sessions.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Hi Anderson,
Regarding your request to remove the authentication code after the password change and restricted access to the IT department, unfortunately, it's not possible to disable this authentication code in Jotform.
This code appears as a security measure, especially when there are login attempts from different devices, browsers, or locations. Even if the password has been changed for exclusive use by the IT department, the system will continue to request the code to ensure account protection.
If you need access for multiple users without frequent interruptions, you might consider using Jotform Enterprise, which supports multiple users and simultaneous sessions.
Let us know if you need any more help.

Hi Anderson,
The access code is only sent once per new device. After you successfully verify the device, it will be remembered by your account, and you shouldn’t be asked for the code again.
If you’re still being prompted for the access code even after verification, could you confirm if you’re using a VPN on your device or browser? A VPN can cause the system to treat each session as a new device. To resolve this, try disabling the VPN and then logging in again.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
