Kan je respondenten hun antwoorden laten wijzigen

Beste lezer,

Wij zouden graag respondenten van een formulier de mogelijkheid geven om later nog hun antwoorden te wijzigen of door te geven.

We willen namelijk dat ze zich aanmelden voor een evenement, tijdens dit evenement zijn er ook workshops. We willen dat ze de keuzes voor de workshops pas later kunnen doorgeven. Dus dat ze bijvoorbeeld weer hun emailadres kunnen opgeven en daarmee hun antwoorden kunnen wijzigen. Is dit mogelijk?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Dutch Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Dutch, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Unfortunately, the feature you are looking for isn't available right now, but as an alternate you can add Request Update button in your table and with one click you can email edit the response. It is really easy to do so, let me show you how:

1. Login to your Jotform account & select the form that contains the submission.

2. Click on Submissions at the top to open Jotform table associated with form & click on + Add column.

3. Under the Buttons tab, choose Request Update & click on Next button.

4. Give a Name to the column and click on Next button.

5. In the Recipients Addresses, click on Fields and choose Email field where customer write email.

6. Add your Custom Message and click on Create Column.

7. In Jotform table, click on Send Update Request.

Thank you so much! This is clear and I understand how I can do it now. We tested it and the recipients got an english email. We are afraid that they will think this is spam. Can we also change this, or show that the email is from 'Kerkpunt' (our organisation)?

If you are talking about email that send out when you click on Send Update Request, unfortunately, it's not currently possible to change the email template of the Send Update Request feature. I've gone ahead and escalated this as a feature request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
