msingletaryAsked on August 8, 2025 at 3:57 PMI have a question. I am trying to set my form to where the same person can’t vote twice, but when I select the option under form settings for Unique submission, it doesn’t allow more than one employee vote, it tells everyone else using there work computer to vote that they have already voted. Is there a different way to set this form to where only one vote per person?

Hi Melissa,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You want to prevent multiple votes from the same person on your form, but the current Unique Submission setting is blocking multiple employees using the same work computer or network. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- Click on Show More Options.
- Under the Form Settings menu, scroll down to Unique Submissions.
- Select the Cookies Only or Cookies and IP address.

msingletaryReplied on August 8, 2025 at 4:30 PMThat is how I had it before and that is what was causing the problem. They aren't using the same computer but I guess maybe we are all on the same network and that caused an issue? Is that the only way I guess?

Hi Melissa,
If you're all on the same network, and different computer/devices, you should select Loose Check / Check Cookies only option.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.
