Hi - I have a survey with value response questions in 7 areas. The values for each section is summed and then averaged into a score for that section. I want to take the value calculated in the Score field and place it in a form spread sheet for each section
This screen shot shows where the values should go - I tried to use the field name and input id - neither works. What do I put in the settings for this table to get the values to show up in the table from each section?

Hi Steve,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand what you’d like to do, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.

Hi Steve,
I've checked this out, and unfortunately, it's not possible to pass or copy a field value to the Spreadsheet widget. The workaround is to use the Input Table element and create a condition to pass the calculation value to the corresponding cell on the Input Table. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element + on the right side.
- On the left panel, select Input Table.
- You can add a column by clicking on + add column.
- On the element, click on gear icon on the right side.
- On the right panel, click on the Fields tab.
- Set the Input Type to Numeric Textbox.
Next, create a condition to calculate a field value for the corresponding cell on the Input Table element.
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
- Click on Conditions on the left side of the screen.
- Select the Update/Calculate Field.
- Next, create the condition as shown below.
- Finally, click on Save.
Make sure to create conditions for the rest of the average score. We also have this guide about How to Insert Text or Calculation Into a Field Conditionally.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element + on the right side.
