Hi,
Despite making my form obvious, applicants do place incorrect information in the chosen fields.
Is there a way of receiving a completed form in a way that I can then change or correct the answers given?
Cheers Scott.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can edit submissions directly within the cell in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:
- On the Jotform Tables page, click on the cell you want to change.
- Delete the information in it and then just enter a new answer for it.
Another way to edit your form submissions is to use Edit Entry. Let me show you how:
1. In Jotform Tables, click the Three dot icon in the first column of the submissions you want to edit.
2. Select Edit Entry from the menu.
3. Fill out the form fields for the employer and click Submit.
We also have a guide about How to Edit Submissions in Jotform Tables that you can check out.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

I'm not sure this is what I am after.......
I would like the ability to alter a client's answer once they have submitted the completed form back to me.
Ie.
I have sent the form to a client.
They have completed the form and sent it back to me
I would like the ability to change the answer they gave on the form I received.
Cheers
Scott

Hi Scott,
The solution that is shown by Mary is correct. Alternatively, you can edit your submission from the notification mail that you have received. Let me show you how:
- In the notification mail, under the submission, click on the edit this submission.
- In the form page that opens, edit the submission, and finally, click on the Submit button.
Soon you will receive a new mail that will include your edited submission. As you can see from the screenshot below:
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

Hi,
Can this be made private? I couldn't seem to find the button allowing me to do this.
My question:
I have had a client send back a form I sent to them, and something strange happened when I went to edit their response.
I 'see' these responses to these questions around expenses:
However, when I go to edit these expenses, the form is empty:
Can you assist?
Kind regards
Scott

Hi Scott,
Sure, I can look into this for you. I’ll just need access to your account to do that. Don't worry, you can disable that again after we're done checking things out. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.
2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.
3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.
4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Hi Scott,
I tested your form to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
I've cleared your form cache, could you test your form again and see how it goes? If the same thing happens again, we'll investigate it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Hi,
When I push the edit button on Leon's submitted form, when I get to the 3rd page there is no information listed, but in his application (as in the screenshots attached in my enquiry on the 12th Feb) he has clearly entered information on page 3.
Can we find out why there is no information on the edit function.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Scott,
To confirm, are you referring to the Living Expenses page? If yes, I checked the submission, and I was able to replicate the issue. But, when I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could reproduce the issue, it appeared to be working as expected. Check out this screenshot below:
Can you try setting your form to unhide the hidden value when submitting on your form settings? Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click Settings from the top bar menu, and click Show More Options.
- Then, scroll to the bottom of the form, and select Don't Clear in the Clear Hidden Values when submitted section.
That's it. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
