Create tickets for event and generate a QR Code for scanning on the day of the event.

I would like to know if we can setup where they can signup for a FREE event and receive a ticket to scan at the event. Just like Eventbrite. I saw some examples but they were back in 2021 and the form doesn't offer it unless I'm doing it wrong.

Please assist me with allowing the attendees to register and receive a ticket. Also, we would like to scan the ticket at check in on the day of the event. This is the form that I'm using.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to use Eventbrite. :(

    Hi harvestfamily,

Yes it is possible to generate a QR code for each submissions by adding a Dynamic QR code. Let me walk you through the steps:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element + and click on Widgets tab.
    2. Now, search and select Random Value Generator.
    3. Next, in the right panel change the Hide Dropdown to Yes.

    4. Then, in the left panel search and select Dynamic QR Code.
    5. Now, in the left panel, change the Field label to encode to match the Random Value Generator.
    6. Next, change the Show QR Image dropdown to No.

    7. Now, make sure that the Dynamic QR Code is added to the Autoresponder. Click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page and click on Emails in the left panel.
    8. Then, hover your mouse on Autoresponder and click the Pencil Icon.

    9. By default, added fields and widgets are automatically added on newly created Autoresponder Emails. Finally, click on Save Button.

That's it. Here's how the Autoresponder would look like:Create tickets for event and generate a QR Code for scanning on the day of the event Screenshot 104

You can then download the submission data as Excel File and use a third-party QR Code scanner linked to your downloaded submission table.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
