How to conditionally select an option in another field

    Hello,

I have a form with a 'Single Choice Property'. When a specific answer is given, I would like to set up conditional formatting to then auto-select a couple of specific checkboxes in a 'Multiple Choice Property'. I thought I might be able to do this with the Update/Calculate Field condition, but I can't seem to get the logic correct.

Can someone help me with this please?

    Thank you!

    Holly

    Hi Holly,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can conditionally select an option in your Multiple Choice field when selecting an option in your Single Choice field with the Update/Calculate field condition. Let me show you how.

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange bar on top.
    2. Click on the Conditions tab on the left.
    3. Click on Add Condition, then select Update/Calculate Field.

    4. Set up your condition like this:

    5. Then click Save.

Make sure that you copy the exact words in the option and paste it in the box in your condition to get it to work. Here's a screencast of the result:

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
