Updating the Spreadsheet for a Form with Multiple Modifications

I edited a form and added, changed and renamed fields. When I look at the spreadsheet format so that I can export the form, may of the fields are not added to spreadsheet layout. I know i can manually add the fields to spreadsheet form as they are shown at the bottom of the columns list, however it is very slow to move a field from the bottom of the list to the top of the list. It would be easier to simply create a new spreadsheet from the edited form and have the fields export in the order they appear on the form. Can I do this?

The form is 468 spaghettini. I will also be editing form 469

    Hi jwustman,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can create a new table or spreadsheet in Jotform to reflect the updated fields and their new order after editing your form. Here's how to do it:

    1. Go to My Forms and choose the form you updated the fields.

    2. Click on Submission.

    10. Click on Select All.

    11. And click on Create.

This method lets you create a new table view that automatically reflects the updated field order from your form, without the need to manually rearrange the fields. Then you can download it as CSV, Excel or PDF to export submission.

That worked great and thanks for you assistance. The one question I now have is the original tab is no longer needed since I will always use the new tab. Can I delete the old tab?

    Hi jwustman,

There is no option to delete the original tab, and we do not recommend deleting submissions from it, as this will affect the second tab. If submissions are deleted from the original tab, they will also be removed from the second tab.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
