Best AI affiliate marketing tools
I started posting regularly on my affiliate website in 2019. Back then, I wasn’t expecting much. I was more interested in writing about cycle touring and sharing tips about how to do it than in making money from the site. I did everything manually, and it took a lot of time.
Then I made my first 33 cents from an Amazon affiliate sale, and it was the best 33 cents I’ve ever made. My husband and I cheered, and I fell in love with the affiliate marketing process. Since then, I’ve been working toward building my affiliate marketing site and the passive income that comes with it.
Since my husband and I both work on the blog, we turned to AI-powered affiliate marketing tools to get more done, streamlining processes, writing content, and improving the overall UX (user experience). Everything became easier, and the blog started making more money.
It’s important for me to stress that I have never sacrificed high-quality content, and I never will. I care deeply about my affiliate marketing blog and want to do the right thing by my readers. Be assured: You can do that while using AI for affiliate marketing.
This article will help, whether you’re new to affiliate marketing or just looking to produce more content so you can get more out of your blog. I’m sharing 10 affiliate marketing strategies and tools — and not gatekeeping anything. After reading this, you’ll know my 10 favorite AI tools, how I use them, and their benefits for affiliate marketers.
10 AI affiliate marketing strategies and tools for success
Let’s get started with my favorite AI affiliate marketing strategies and tools.
1. ChatGPT for content writing and content ideation
ChatGPT is an excellent content writing tool that is particularly good for developing ideas.
I’m bringing my caveat into this early: In my experience, you cannot rely on ChatGPT to write all of your content.
You have to write from experience and write like you care.
While ChatGPT can write content fast, it’s not a replacement for real human writing. When mixing affiliate marketing with AI, you must use it intentionally.
So what does this mean?
It means you need to edit ChatGPT’s content. Editing content and writing from experience are particularly important if you rely on search engines and SEO (search engine optimization) to bring in traffic. SEO does all the heavy lifting for my affiliate marketing blog, and I do what I need to do — write good content — to give my blog the best chance of ranking.
Here’s a screenshot of Google Analytics from my blog. Organic traffic accounts for over 90 percent of my total traffic.
Main benefits of ChatGPT for affiliate marketing
- Sometimes you can write content faster with AI than without it.
- You can prompt the AI for content ideas. But if SEO is important, you must cross-reference ideas with keywords and the wider SEO plan.
- You can add blog content that you’ve written and then ask ChatGPT to break it down into social media posts. It’s fantastic at repurposing content.
How I use ChatGPT for affiliate marketing
Everyone knows the basics of prompting ChatGPT and writing content, so I want to give you a more innovative idea.
We are all sitting on a trove of content and not using it properly. From my experience, content doesn’t get repurposed enough. Most people will use ChatGPT to repurpose a blog into a social media post, which is a great start.
But there’s more—you can also use ChatGPT to repurpose your video transcripts. But, why do I think this is so good?
Video transcripts, such as podcast interviews or affiliate videos recommending products, can come across more naturally than the written word. Also, if you’re in an interview scenario, like when I recorded this podcast with Chat with Nomads, you answer genuine questions about something — in this case, about what I did (cycled around the world). The host of this podcast was essentially my target audience, and the questions he asked were what my target audience would ask. Therefore, content ideas generated from the interview should probably have been on my blog.
I took the transcript (YouTube allows you to do this for free), put it into ChatGPT, and used the AI to generate affiliate marketing blog ideas based on the conversation. From that one conversation, I created three related articles and published them all.
Talk about efficiency!
2. Link Whisper AI for internal linking
Link Whisper is an AI-powered linking tool, and since putting it on my website, I can’t live without it.
The AI in this linking tool looks for semantically relevant anchor text for all your internal links, so you’ll link to pages with varied anchor texts and never miss an opportunity to link one page to another.
Internal linking is essential for any website, but especially for affiliate sites, because links drive authority from one page to another and make it easy for users to navigate your site. If you mention a product on another page of your site, Link Whisper ensures you don’t miss a linking opportunity so you can keep driving traffic to your product pages, which is where you make the money.
Main benefits of Link Whisper AI for affiliate marketing
- Link Whisper boosts SEO for affiliate sites and ensures you never miss an opportunity to link to a product.
- It enables you to search with AI for semantically related links or long-tail opportunities, allowing you to vary your anchor text.
- It saves time on adding links as the auto feature does it for you.
How I use Link Whisper AI for affiliate marketing
The subsequent screenshot is what the tool looks like on my website’s back end. The report shown is the “internal links report,” which is my favorite.
To use this report,
- Add a keyword and a URL.
- Select Create Autolink Rule.
Link Whisper will now use AI to look for linking opportunities and present them as a new row.
- Click on the Possible Links dropdown menu, which features each opportunity.
- Choose whether or not to add the link by ticking the box next to it.
You can set the auto-linking feature to be completely automatic, so you don’t even have to do step four, but I recommend selecting each link manually. You might find that some links are not optimally placed. Link Whisper will take any anchor text it deems suitable, no matter where it is. For example, it might recommend you link from a word within a sentence on a call-to-action (CTA) banner. You generally wouldn’t want that, though, unless the link just happens to be the same link the CTA is driving traffic to.

3. Jotform AI Chatbot for affiliate conversions and feedback
Depending on how active you are on your affiliate blog and how dedicated you are to providing top-notch service, you might want to consider adding an AI agent to your website.
Adding a Jotform AI Chatbot is easy with the AI Chatbot Builder tool. It’s a no-code solution. Begin by walking through a short process where you assign an agent, a name, a title, and a greeting message. You can customize the chatbot’s colors to match those on your website, giving it the same look and feel as your brand. Jotform then generates the code, and you copy and paste it into your HTML. I use WordPress, and this took me minutes from start to finish.
Main benefits of Jotform AI Chatbot for affiliate marketing
- Chatbots offer personalized experiences for website visitors who can “talk” to a named AI agent.
- You can train the AI on your knowledge base or website pages. So if someone needs help finding a product, the AI agent will have the relevant details to reply.
- You can gather data about what people are asking within the chatbot to see if you need to add new products or pages to meet visitor needs.
How I use Jotform AI Chatbot for affiliate marketing
On my blog, I like to get feedback about the website’s content to ensure that I’m providing what people want. The following picture shows Jotform’s AI agent on my site. I’ve customized it so Avery, a Website Feedback Specialist, can listen to web visitors’ feedback. Insights gained via the AI chatbot can inspire new content or provide reviews of new products.
A chatbot adds a layer of connection between me and the website visitor. Visitors can use the bot to tell me what they want to see more of, and then I can provide it. This keeps the affiliate marketing products relevant to what people most want to see.
To create Avery, I started with the feedback agent template, but you might also like the Affiliate Registration AI Agent template or the Affiliate Revenue Report AI Agent template.

4. WriterZen for keyword research and SEO content
Affiliate marketers must create content, and finding ideas can sometimes be challenging. WriterZen can help a lot with content ideation and creating engaging and SEO-friendly briefs.
Main benefits of WriterZen for affiliate marketing
- WriterZen’s Content Creator tool helps analyze ranking pages at record speed and can create an outline based on what competitors have included on their pages.
- The Topic Discovery tool finds topics based on a keyword, so you’ll always have content ideas.
- The Keyword Explorer tool helps you discover keywords and their search volumes.
How I use WriterZen for affiliate marketing
WriterZen has many excellent tools for affiliate marketers, but my favorite has to be Content Creator. I use it when I don’t want to create briefs or write content manually.
WriterZen’s AI pulls together an outline based on what’s ranking and provides keywords you must include. The following image is the original outline for my best-ranking page. I used WriterZen to put it together. The analysis on the right guides your SEO, informing you of everything you need to write the best possible piece.
I’m a massive fan of this tool and use it weekly for all my content creation. When I was in Vietnam a few years ago, I met the entire WriterZen team, so I know they’re working hard to bring the best possible software to those who use it.
Important note: While I love WriterZen and the AI outlines and content it can create, I always thoroughly edit content and add new sections to make sure my content is the best possible and deserves a page one rank.
If you want a step-by-step guide about how I use WriterZen’s AI for topical ideation and content briefs, here’s a video I created:
5. Hootsuite for industry trends
Hootsuite is software that makes light work of social media. I’ve used this tool for years, and it is fantastic for planning and scheduling social media content across channels.
What sets Hootsuite apart from ChatGPT and the rest is its ability to combine information about your brand (based on your socials and related accounts) with real-time social listening data, powered by Blue Silk AI.
Main benefits of Hootsuite for affiliate marketing
- Content suggestions help inspire your latest social media post.
- Performance insights within Hootsuite help you see which content resonates most, allowing you to create more of it, refine your strategy, and boost conversions.
- Trend monitoring is very helpful on Hootsuite because social media moves fast and in real time. You can identify trending topics to tailor your affiliate content accordingly.
How I use Hootsuite for affiliate marketing
Hootsuite is well known for its scheduling feature, so instead I’ll talk about Hootsuite’s AI, OwlyGPT.
You can have conversations with OwlyGPT to find inspiration for content. I like asking what’s happening in the industry to get real-time insights. Consider any findings useful for your affiliate marketing strategy across the marketing landscape, not just social media.
Social media offers powerful insights because it’s where the latest trends are discussed. If a product is getting particular prominence across social media, for example, then it’s likely that more people are also Googling it.

6. Invideo AI for video creation
Invideo’s AI Video Generator is simple to use. It can complete comprehensive research and generate a video from a text prompt in just minutes. You do need an account, but that’s quick to set up.
Main benefits of Invideo AI for affiliate marketing
- Repurpose written content and turn blog posts or product reviews into short-form videos you can post on social media, upload to YouTube, or embed onto a website.
- No video skills are required — just describe the video and let the AI create it.
- Short-form videos are more engaging than long-form videos.
How I use Invideo AI for affiliate marketing
As an affiliate marketer, you’ve likely already created a lot of content in the form of text. With Invideo AI, you can take that content and repurpose it.
I like to copy content about a product on my blog and paste it into the video generator. Invideo’s AI Video Generator then completes comprehensive research, analyzing the content I gave it and studying the product’s website.
It takes some time to generate a 10-minute video, but the AI is doing a lot of work, including finding and syncing relevant short clips to create the video. Here’s a screenshot of a clip from my video about waterproof cycling clothes. The AI found a man on a bike in the rain.
If your video isn’t quite to your liking, you can edit it by clicking Edit and then tweaking the video, clip by clip. You can also adjust the script. This particular script repeats the product name too many times for my liking, but you can’t expect perfection from AI — you always need to edit it.
If you create long-form videos, you might also like the AI Clip Generator.

7. Klaviyo for generating logical email flows
Klaviyo is one of the most user-friendly options for sending marketing emails, and their AI email flow generator is fantastic.
Main benefits of Klaviyo for affiliate marketing
- Improved segmentation from using AI helps you segment your list more effectively, making it easier to send targeted emails that align with specific affiliate offers.
- Time-saving templates help you generate email sequences in minutes with prefilled logic and content tailored to your goals.
How I use Klaviyo for affiliate marketing
One of my favorite AI tools within Klaviyo is Flows AI, which you can try here. You simply start with a text prompt of what you want to happen.
For my affiliate site, if someone purchases a product, I want to thank them, wait for a period (I choose two days), and then send recommendations for a related product.
If you capture numbers and are happy with SMS marketing, you can level up your flows and send SMS messages too!

8. Alli AI for website page speed and technical SEO
If you’re working on a website and don’t have access to a developer, AI tools like Alli AI can help you keep your website fast. Luckily for me, my husband is a developer, so he works on our site. But if having a slow site was holding me back, and I didn’t have access to a developer, I would recommend Alli AI without hesitation. It’s even featured on major websites like Forbes.
Important note: You can automate many different tasks with Alli AI, but just because you can doesn’t mean you should, especially if you’re inexperienced with technical SEO and site speed. Take all the insights from the tool’s AI, but think them through before you act on them.
Main benefits of Alli AI for affiliate marketing
- Alli AI is available for many content management systems, so it’s a great recommendation for this blog. I would use it on WordPress, but it also integrates with Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace.
- It automates key technical SEO tasks like compressing images. Automatic compression is helpful because you don’t have to resize images upon upload, which can be time-consuming.
- No-code website speed optimization options help affiliate marketers maintain a fast website without developer skills.
How I use Alli AI for affiliate marketing
One of my favorite features of tools like Alli AI is image optimization. I’m not blessed with creative skills, and I find image editing a task. I don’t enjoy it. Even the simplest changes, like resizing and compressing images, are so time-consuming.
When you have a tool that compresses images automatically, you don’t have to spend time compressing them before you upload them. Automatic compression is also helpful if multiple people are uploading content to the site at the same time.

9. Google Analytics (GA4) for website performance and tracking
- Google Analytics (GA4 is the most recent version) has long been the go-to for website performance and tracking, and there’s a lot you can do with it. I could write an entire article about how I use GA4 to manage my affiliate marketing blog. but there are two innovative ways I want to highlight here.
Main benefits of GA4 for affiliate marketing
- AI-powered snapshot insights help me review what’s worked well. For example, how did organic traffic perform in one month compared to another, or where did a traffic spike come from?
- Identifying AI-generated traffic helps you see how a site performs in an AI search.
How I use GA4 for affiliate marketing
One of my favorite ways to use GA4’s AI is in the insights section. I type a query into the search bar, like “organic traffic numbers in May 2025 versus May 2024.” GA4 then quickly pulls insights into a sidebar on the right. I used to have to navigate to the report and filter the date manually, but now I can do it from the dashboard in only a minute. This has sped up my reporting significantly.
I really like monitoring traffic from AI sources. The following screenshot is from my Looker Studio report. It shows what visits from AI sources look like on my affiliate website. They suddenly started growing last month. It’s great to track this data, as there’s no doubt visibility in these tools will increase.
Check out these links for more tips on using GA4 to track AI traffic:
- Kyle Rushton created this Looker Studio report. To access the report and view your AI metrics on it, log into your Google account associated with GA4.

10. Asana AI for project management
I’m a big fan of Asana AI for project management. If you’re serious about your affiliate marketing endeavors, you need to get organized.
I admit, Asana is not the cheapest tool on the market if you have a team, but it’s very affordable if your team is small or just one person.
ClickUp and Trello are cheaper alternatives. Both are great. ClickUp can do more out of the box compared to Asana, and it’s more affordable too, but although it’s very good, I find the scale of ClickUp’s operation a bit too large and overcomplicated. Trello has the opposite problem for me — it’s a bit too simple.
Main benefits of Asana AI for affiliate marketing
- Workflow automations can assign tasks to you or specific people. For example, if a blog goes live and you want to create a social media post one week later, you can set up automations for that.
- Generative AI helps write summaries, updates, or briefs within the Asana tool. With a click of a button, the AI can write comments, updates, or task descriptions, which can save you a lot of time.
- Automated prioritization fields make sure your most important items stand out as “high priority.”
How I use Asana AI for affiliate marketing
Asana is a linchpin in my affiliate marketing endeavors (and in my life, in general, to be honest). I manage everything in Asana, from my tasks to wishlists and from content ideas to products I want to include as affiliates.
Here’s what the Asana board for my affiliate marketing website looks like.
You can see it lists backlink opportunities, social media tasks, and my tasks, as well as my husband’s tasks on the development side of the project. We use Asana to keep us organized.

Affiliate marketers, don’t sleep on AI-powered tools!
When I first started using AI-powered tools for affiliate marketing, I was apprehensive. I like to put care and meaning behind everything I do. I worried that “outsourcing” parts of my affiliate marketing endeavors would reduce quality and be noticeable to website visitors.
But that isn’t the case.
Bringing AI into affiliate marketing tools isn’t about handing over tasks you love to AI and diminishing quality. It’s about using AI as a tool and getting more out of what you love doing.
I think my favorite use cases for AI in affiliate marketing are WriterZen, ChatGPT, and Jotform AI Agents. All of these tools offer so much to affiliate marketers. I’ve mentioned one use case for each tool, but there are so many more. The best thing you can do is explore these tools on your own — see which features are most useful to you as an affiliate marketer, because we all do things differently.
