Mike_LakeHello,
When a signer Approves or Denies a request, there's a Comments box they can use to further explain their reasoning. Is it possible to include these comments in the Jotform emails that get delivered, or make them visible on the Admin Review page somehow?
If someone denies a request for a Realtor to take their listings with them to their new office, I'd like to have those comments visible to all involved parties so everyone understands their reason.
Thanks,

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Mike,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
At the moment, I don’t have a direct template that specifically confirms whether the approver’s Comments field from an Approval step can be automatically pulled into your notification emails or shown on the Admin Review page, so I need to rely on our internal knowledge base for that level of detail. Based on the canned responses available, I can only confirm how to approve or deny submissions and manage approval steps, but not how to expose the approver’s comments in emails or on the Admin Review page.
Because this specific behavior is not covered in the available templates, I don't know this information and our support team will handle your request.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Joseph Christian JotForm SupportHi Mike,
Yes, you can include the signer's Approve/Deny comments in the email notifications. Let me show you how:
- In Workflow Builder, select the Email element and click on the Mail icon.
- Then, in the Email Content toolbar, click on the Fields button.
- Next, in the dropdown menu, scroll down to the bottom and expand the fields for the Approval element.
- Select the Approval Comment field to add to the email content.
Let us know if you have any other questions. -
Mike_LakeThank you. Am I able to edit the Approval page to add instructions to the comments box?

Rose Enterprise SupportHi Mike,
If you're trying to add a custom message to the approval page, there's an option to customize the approval action page. Let's walk through the steps:
- In Workflow Builder, click on the Gear icon attached to the Approval element.
- In the menu on the right, scroll down to the bottom and click the Customize button.
- You can update the label of the fields in the approval page to give instructions to the approver.
Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
