How to transfer account to new email association?

    Hi,


    I created an account and paid for a subscription but i need to change the email address associated with the account. I tried to change it but it said the email is already associated with Jotform. How do I transfer my paid account to the new account?

    Since the email address you want to use is already associated with another Jotform account, you will first need to free that email from the other account, then update the email on your paid account.

    Let me walk you through it:

    Phase 1: Decide which account you want to keep as the main (paid) account

    1. Confirm which login currently has the active paid subscription (this will be your main account).
    2. Log in to the other Jotform account that is currently using the email address you want (the “new” email).
    3. Change or remove the email on that second account (for example, change it to another email you control or a temporary one). This step is required so that the desired email is no longer tied to that account.

    Phase 2: Change the email on your paid account to the desired address

    After freeing the email from the other account, follow these steps in your paid account:

    1. On your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image in the top-right corner of the screen.

    2. In the Dropdown menu that comes up, click on your name.

    3. On the right side of the page, under the Email section, click on Edit.

    4. Next, enter the new email address you want to use and click on Save

    5. In the Confirmation window that opens, enter the Authentication Code sent to your new email and click on Verify.

    Important notes:

    • You cannot directly merge or transfer a paid subscription between two separate Jotform accounts. The usual approach is to keep the subscription on one account and change that account’s email to the one you want, as described above.
    • If the other account (that currently uses your desired email) has forms or data you need, you can clone or move forms between accounts instead of moving the subscription itself.
