justcheerdeskHello,
I purchase the Jotform subscription as I need to collect data on my members who will be joining my company. With that being said, I did fill out the verification forms required by Jotform since sensitive data was being collected.
I noticed there was an option to collect credit card numbers, but when I go to view the submissions they are blocked out. the collection of this information was the sole reason I went with Jotform. Please advise.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Just,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Jotform cannot be used to collect or display full credit card numbers. This is due to PCI compliance and security requirements. When any credit card details are involved:
- Full credit card numbers are never stored or shown in submissions.
- Form owners cannot view full card details later in Tables, Inbox, PDFs, or anywhere else.
- When a payment gateway is used, the transaction happens directly between the payer and the payment processor, and Jotform only receives non-sensitive data such as a Transaction ID.
Additionally, forms must not be used to collect raw credit card information (for example, plain text fields asking for card number, CVV, expiry, etc.). Doing so is not allowed and can lead to account suspension, as stated in Jotform’s Terms of Use.
If you need to charge your members or collect payment details, the supported and compliant way is to:
- Use a payment integration (such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, etc.) in your form.
- Let the payment processor handle and store the sensitive card data.
- Use the information returned by the processor (e.g., Transaction ID) for your records and membership management.
Because of these security and compliance rules, there is no way to unmask or view the full credit card numbers in your existing submissions.
