    Hi,

I create invoices with the PDF option for my submissions.

    It shows like this

Custom Product list in PDF Image 1 Screenshot 20

Can I custom this? As I am in Quebec, I would like to see 2 220,00 CAD without $ before the amount.

    Thank you

    Hi lassocie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

From your screenshot description, I understand that your invoice PDF currently shows amounts like $2.200,00 CAD and you would like it to display as 2 220,00 CAD (no dollar sign before the amount, and using your local Quebec style).

Let me walk you through what can and cannot be changed:

    1. What you can customize on the invoice PDF

You can open your invoice in PDF Editor and customize many layout and content elements (add/remove fields, change texts, move elements, etc.). To access and edit the invoice layout:

    1. Go to your form in Form Builder, then click your Payment / Product List field.
    2. Click the Cart icon (Product List Settings) on the right.
    3. Open the Invoice tab and make sure Enable Invoice is turned on.
    4. Click Preview the Invoice to open it in PDF Editor.
    5. Turn off the Preview Mode toggle in the top-right corner so you can edit.
    6. Use the tools on the page (Add elements, Settings icon, text fields, etc.) to adjust the layout, labels, and additional text on your invoice.

    2. Changing the currency itself

If you need to change the currency type (for example, from USD to CAD) for your products and totals, you can do that in the Product List settings:

    1. Click the Product List element in your form.
    2. Click the Payment Properties / green icon on the right side.
    3. In the panel that opens, choose your preferred option from the Currency dropdown.

    3. About removing the “$” symbol or changing the numeric format

The available information only covers changing the currency type (e.g., CAD vs USD) and customizing the PDF layout. It does not describe an option to:

    • Remove the currency symbol (like “$”) from the automatically generated price fields, or
    • Change the internal number formatting (for example, switching between comma/period or adding spaces inside the amount) beyond what the currency setting itself provides.

Because of that, I cannot confirm a built-in setting that would format the price exactly as 2 220,00 CAD without the leading symbol in the automatic price fields. As a partial workaround, you could:

    • Add a custom Text element in PDF Editor and manually format a display line (e.g., using form fields and static text) if you need a specific visual presentation, while still keeping the original total field for accuracy.

If you can share which payment gateway you are using (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc.), we can check further options specific to that integration. Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

As I use a PDF that is not from the Enable invoice, I'm not sure the solution is okay, I will wait for a human answer, thank you

    Hi lassocie,

Looks like that feature isn’t available just yet. I’ve passed your request along to our Developers so they can review it. Whether or not it’s developed, and when, will depend on their workload, how doable it is, and how many other users ask for it too. If/when there are any updates, we’ll update this thread so you’re the first to know.
