ExternalAffairsDCAWe need some assistance with our merchant services. We have a merchant connection with CyberSource, but the transaction key has expired. I reached out to the AI assistant, but it was not much help.
Thanks,

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Kalvin,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Let me help you with that:
When a CyberSource transaction key expires, you need to generate a new key in your CyberSource account and then update that key in your form’s CyberSource integration settings in Jotform.
First, generate a new Transaction Key in CyberSource (in your CyberSource Business Center / dashboard):
- Log in to your CyberSource merchant account.
- Go to the area where you manage API credentials / security keys (Transaction Key). The exact menu labels depend on your CyberSource setup, but you should be looking for the section where Merchant ID and Transaction/Security keys are created or managed.
- Create or regenerate a new Transaction Key and copy it for use in Jotform.
Once you have the new key, you must update it in your Jotform form’s payment integration so payments can resume.
Then, update the CyberSource credentials in your Jotform form:
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Click on Add Form Element at the top-left and then go to the Payments tab to locate your existing CyberSource field on the form.
- Click on the green Payment Properties icon on the right side of the CyberSource field to open Payment Settings.
- In Payment Settings, enter your Merchant ID (if not already filled) and paste the new Transaction Key you generated from CyberSource.
- Review the other required options (such as Currency, Bill To email field, and Billing Address field) to ensure they are correctly set.
- Click on the button to save or apply the payment settings.
If you are also using 3D Secure 2.0 with CyberSource, make sure that the Cardinal API Key, Cardinal API Identifier, and Cardinal OrgUnit ID in the same Payment Settings are still valid and correctly entered, based on the credentials provided in your CyberSource account.
After updating the Transaction Key and saving the settings, you can run a quick test submission on your form to confirm that payments are processing correctly again.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
