    Hi!

I created a form (261395208170051) with the chatbot and was logged in. I sent it out and someone has completed it but when logged in it shows that I don't have any forms created and I have seen no emails on a form being completed. What can I do to get the form replies?

    Thanks,

    Amanda

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

From the available information, I can only confirm the following general points:

    1) As the form owner, your forms should normally appear on your My Forms page. From there, you can open the form’s submissions table or Inbox to view replies.

    2) If you are not seeing email notifications for submissions, you can troubleshoot by:

    • Checking the notification recipient: By default, notifications go to your account email. If you changed the recipient in the form’s email settings, make sure the address is correct.
    • Checking spam/junk: Look in your spam or junk folder and mark any Jotform emails as “not spam.”
    • Checking if your email is on the bounce list: In your Account Settings, make sure your email is not listed as bounced.
    • Whitelisting Jotform: You can improve deliverability by whitelisting Jotform’s domains and IPs as described in the guide on whitelisting Jotform IP addresses and domains.
    • Reviewing email logs: On your Account History page, set the action filter to “Emails” to see if submission emails were sent and to which address.

    3) If you filled out a form as a respondent (not as the owner), you would normally see assigned forms under the Assigned Forms section in Workspace, but this does not apply when you are the owner sending out your own form.

However, the current information does not explain why this specific form (261395208170051) is not appearing under your account even though you created it while logged in, nor how to directly retrieve its submissions in this situation. Because of that, I cannot see or restore that form or its replies from here.

To move forward, please double-check the following on your side:

    1. Confirm the account you are logged into: Make sure you are logging in with the same email or login method you used when you created and shared the form (for example, if you used Google login vs. email/password).
    2. Try accessing the form via its direct URL: Open the form link you sent out in your browser while logged in to Jotform and see if any owner options (like editing or viewing submissions) appear.
    3. Check your Account History: On the Account History page, filter by recent dates and by “Emails” to see if any submission notifications were sent for that form ID and to which address.

After we hear back from you with what you see when you follow these steps (especially which account you are logged into and whether the form URL shows any owner controls), we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Amanda,

After checking your form I found it was created under a guest account. This is why you cannot find it when you access your account. This form only has an Autoresponder email, this is also the reason why you are not receiving email notifications. Since this form still haven't received many submissions, I recommend that you clone it to your account and share the new Form URL. Cloning an Existing Form From a URL is easy. Let me walk you through it:

    1. On your Workspace page, click on Create on the top-left side of the page.

    2. Select Form from the assets, and then click on Import Form.

    3. In the next window, click on From a Web Page

    4. Paste the form link into the Enter URL field and click on Create Form.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.
