My form is complete and published. I have a connection to square. I want to make the CC payment section optional allowing the completed form to be submitted and allow the user to mail a check.

    Hi Al,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

You can allow users to submit your form without paying by switching your current payment gateway to Purchase Order. This lets people complete the form and then mail a check instead of entering a credit card. Let me walk you through how to switch:

    1. Go to your form in Form Builder.
    2. Click on the Credit Card icon on the right side of the page to open Payment Properties.
    3. Under the Payment Connection section, click on the Trash Can icon to remove the Square connection.
    4. In the Confirmation window that opens, click on Yes, Remove.
    5. Then, in the Add Form Element panel on the left, go to the Payments tab and add Purchase Order as your payment element.
    6. Configure your products/amounts in Purchase Order just like in your Product List so users can submit without paying online and then mail a check.

After this change, the form will no longer require a credit card, and you can include instructions on the form (for example, in a Paragraph field) telling users where and how to mail their checks.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

This is a dumb solution. I want to give options not direct people 1 way. CC or mail.

    Hi Al,

You can add a Single Choice element on the form where the user can select if they want to pay via credit card or check. And if they selected Check, the Product List field will be conditionally hidden. First, we will add a Single Choice element. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    2. Then, in the Form Elements menu, under the Basic tab, scroll down to Single Choice, and drag and drop a Single Choice element to your form.
    3. Now, change the Label and Options for the Single Choice element.

Next is adding the Show/Hide Field condition. Let's do this:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. Click on
Conditions on the left side of the screen.
    3. Select the
    Show/Hide Field condition.

    4. Add this condition and click on Save:

I think we have finally outgrown Jotform. The form is active and I can't
follow the instructions. I have a shopping cart that automatically adds a
CC payment option. I need the shopping cart to allow CC or Mail Check. I
    don't see an option.

I should say the shopping cart has several items, registration, donation
and t-shirt So it would be totalled. I am trying options on a cloned form
but I am not expecting a good outcome

    Hi Al,

I understand that you'd like users to select products and then choose whether to pay by credit/debit card or by mailing a check.

At the moment, this isn't supported when using the Product List element. Since the Product List element is directly connected to the form's payment integration, it doesn't allow respondents to choose between different payment methods.

As an alternative, you can recreate your product options using standard form fields such as Single Choice, Multiple Choice, or Dropdown elements. Assign values to each option, then use the Form Calculation widget to automatically calculate the total amount.

Once you have the total, you can follow my teammate's suggestion and add a Single Choice field that asks respondents which payment method they would like to use. For example, credit/debit card or check by mail.

This setup will give users the flexibility to select their preferred payment method while still allowing you to calculate the order total.

Reach out to us if you need any more help.

Thank you! Looks like it is time to find a different product. Sometime we
    just out grow products.

    Hi Al,

I found a workaround so that you can use different payment methods for completing orders. You can add one payment integration per form, but you can display multiple integrations in the same form by using the iFrame Embed widget, adding a Single Choice element or the Dropdown element asking which payment option they prefer to use, and applying the Conditions feature with the existing payment gateway. Let me show you how to set it up:

At first, let's add the iFrame Embed widget to your form:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the screen.
    2. Click on the Widgets tab, search for iFrame Embed and drag and drop it to your form.
    3. In the menu on the right, under the General tab, paste the Frame URL of the other form, which includes fields and the payment integration.
    4. Next to the Iframe Embed widget, click on the Gear icon and change the Height option as you want.

    1. While in Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the screen.
    2. In the menu on the left, under the Basic Elements menu, drag and drop a Single Choice element.
    3. Change the label and the options so that users can choose the payment method.

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.

    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Conditions and choose the Show/Hide Field option.

    3. Set up two conditions as you see below and click on Save.

After completing all the steps, you can display two payment methods on the same form. Keep in mind that if users fill out the form within the iframe widget, submissions will be collected in that form. Check out the screencast below to see how it'll work:
