    Hi there,

I'm receiving an error message on an app that I designed with Jotform. It is connected to a form, and has a dashboard which is no longer rendering. The error message states that the most likely issue is:

"The site may be experiencing excessive load

The server is down for maintenance

There may be a network problem"

We're launching our event today and require this dashboard to function well for our event.

Can you confirm the issue for me, and let me know if there is anything we can do to make sure our app functions correctly?

    Thanks,
    Chispa Project

    Hi Chispa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

From the message you described, the app dashboard is running into a temporary service or connectivity issue. When Jotform experiences unusually high traffic between front-end and back-end servers, affected pages can fail to render and instead show a generic message about possible excessive load, maintenance, or network problems. In such cases, services are restored as quickly as possible once traffic stabilizes or maintenance is completed.

Let me help you with that:

    1. Check Jotform’s current service status

To confirm whether there is an ongoing platform-side issue affecting apps or dashboards, you can check Jotform’s current server status and incident history through our Jotform Status page. This page shows if there are any outages or degraded performance that could explain why your app dashboard is not rendering.

    2. Rule out temporary connectivity issues on your side

If the status page shows everything is operational, the issue may be related to connectivity between your network and Jotform. In that case, try the following general checks on your end: use a stable internet connection, reload the app, and try accessing it from a different network or device to see if the dashboard loads there.

    3. Retry the app after a short interval

When there is abnormally high traffic or a temporary back-end issue, affected pages may intermittently fail to load but start working again once the load subsides and services are restored. If the status page indicates an incident, keep an eye on it and retry your app dashboard periodically as the issue is resolved.

If you can share whether the app ever loads on any device or network, or if it fails consistently for everyone, that detail will help narrow down whether this is more likely a temporary platform-side performance issue or something specific to your environment.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Chispa,

We've checked the dashboard and form using the URL you shared and it's loading correctly on our side across multiple devices. This suggests either a client-side rendering issue or a potential mismatch in data/configuration for the specific user context.

To help isolate the cause, could you please try:

    • Opening the app in an incognito/private window
    • Accessing it from a different device or network
    • Logging out and back into your account
    • If possible, confirm whether other users are able to access the same dashboard

If the issue continues after these steps, please share a screenshot of that you see and we'll take a closer look right away.
