mspacdstIt seems that only the Approval and Task notifications can include the filled original Smart PDF and the PDF output document. The basic notifications only include the PDF document output. How to enable the filled Smart PDF to also be attached to the basic notifications? I would like this flexibility.

Regarding your question about attaching the filled original Smart PDF to basic notifications in Jotform Approval Flows, currently, only Approval and Task notifications support including both the filled original Smart PDF and the PDF output document. Basic notifications can only include the PDF output document.
However, you can enable attaching the original filled Smart PDF to email notifications by following these steps in your Smart PDF Form settings:
- Go to your Smart PDF Forms page in your Workspace and click Edit Form on your Smart PDF Form.
- Click on Settings in the blue navigation bar, then go to the Emails section.
- Edit your Notification email and go to the Advanced tab.
- Enable Attach PDF and select The Original PDF with Form Submission Data to attach the filled original Smart PDF.
- Save your changes.
This method attaches the filled original Smart PDF to your email notifications, but it applies to notifications configured within the Smart PDF Form settings. Basic notifications outside of this context do not currently support attaching the filled original Smart PDF.
If you want more flexibility in your notifications, you may consider using Approval or Task notifications where this feature is supported.

mspacdstI'm not using notifications like that because I am setting them up in the workflow. Are you confirming that the workflow email notifications don't support attaching the original Smart PDF form? If so, will this be offered in the future? I don't understand why it's not supported.

Yes, the option to attach the filled Original PDF is not available when using the Email element in Workflow builder. While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers.
Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
In the meantime, I suggest using the PDF element. This element will still send an email and it will allow you to attach both the Original PDF and the PDF document you created in PDF Editor. Here's an example:

mspacdstThank you for confirming. I considered adding the PDF element, but the PDF element does not support inclusion of uploaded form attachments. That workaround requires the notified person to receive two different emails to get all of the information. I will work on trying to get all of the information in the PDF Designer PDF and/or the body of the email itself.
