    Hi,

We use our jotform account on multiple computers and today it started asking for a log in code every time someone tried to log in. This was not the case the last couple of years. Is this a bug or a new feature? Please help as soon as possible.

    Thank you,

    Edan Yachdav

    Hi Edan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

This behavior is not a bug but a security feature. When multiple devices try to log in to the same Jotform account, a login code is required each time to verify the user. This is because Jotform's standard plans are for single users, allowing only one active login session at a time. If you log in from a different IP address or device, you will be prompted for a login code.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to remove this authentication step. Also, for security reasons, login sessions expire after two hours, requiring you to log back in.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Edan,

When you attempt to access your Jotform account, you will be prompted with an Authorization code via email. This is for security purposes because an unusual activity is detected on the account. Keep in mind that standard plans like yours (Starter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) are individual, single-user plans. In addition, sharing login information with third parties is against our Terms of Use. Unfortunately, we cannot change/disable this security feature.

If your account requires multiple users, we encourage you to look into upgrading to Jotform Enterprise. Enterprise accounts can accommodate everyone on your team while giving you full control and visibility into each action taken by members of your team for IT audit purposes.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
