Hello! I have a form that is to be filled out by a recruiter and then it goes to the area manager for comments / notes about how to onboard the new recruit. I have this connected with google sheets and monday.com.
The integration for the form is working find but it is not pulling over the notes / comments from the task that the manager has after the form is submitted.
Where am I going wrong? I need this info to be part of the integration with google sheets and monday.com.thank you!

Hi StacyHerman,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding your issue with the workflow task notes not appearing in your Google Sheets and monday.com integrations, the key point is that the manager's comments or notes added after form submission are part of the task updates, which may not be included by default in the integration setup.
Here’s how to address this:
- For monday.com: When setting up the integration, ensure you select the option to create an update on the item (not just create an item). This allows you to push task comments or notes as updates to the specific item on your monday.com board.
- For Google Sheets: Confirm that the fields capturing the manager's notes are included in the integration field mapping. If the notes are added after submission as part of a workflow task, you may need to configure your workflow to send these updates explicitly to Google Sheets.
- Use Jotform Workflows: If you are using Jotform Workflows, add the task element and configure the integration within the workflow to include task notes in the data sent to your integrations.
Make sure to review and adjust your integration settings to include these task notes or updates explicitly.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi StacyHerman,
When I checked your form's workflow, I noticed three issues with the task elements. Take a look at the screenshot below:
Could you try fixing the errors first, then make a test submission to check if the notes and comments are successfully pulled through upon submission?
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I know those aren't working yet, I want to get the first one working before I spend time mapping all of them out for it to not work. I am testing the first two right now and that's what's not working - Empyre - is what I'm testing on.

Hi Stacy,
You should be able to map the Task fields on your monday.com integration. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my sample setup:
Check out the screencast below to see how it works:

so I have to map everything in the workflow, not the jotform? I don't want to create a duplicate

Hi Stacy,
Based on your flow, you should use the one in the Workflow, as it gives you more options for redirecting the flow to where the information should go, much more easily compared to the one in the Form Builder integration. Although, if that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
