I want it, if they select water temp on the multiple choice, it will then prompt a feild for them to type in that temperature.

Also, is there a way to make the typing of the water temperature required

    Hi Arc_Development,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, that is possible. You can do this by adding another field where the user enters the water temperature when Water Temp is selected, and using Show/Hide Field conditional logic. I'll walk you through setting that up:

First, you need to add a Short Text element below the Maintenance Concern field (Multiple Choice element). Here's how:

    1. In Form Builder, click the Add Element button located at the upper left part of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, drag and drop the Short Text element to your form.
    3. Once added, click the Gear icon to open Properties.
    4. Lastly, under the General tab, toggle the Required option to On.

Once done, we will set up conditions to show the Short Text element only when the Water Temp option is selected. As indicated, we will use the Show/Hide Field conditional logic. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left side of the screen.
    3. Next, select Show/Hide Field condition.

    4. Lastly, set up your conditions similar to the one below, then click Save.

You can also clone my demo form to see how it's done.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
