I understand you’d like to sum the values from the amount field inside multiple Configurable List widgets and display the total in another field, such as a Short Text field. While the Configurable List widget itself doesn’t directly pass individual sub-field values into form calculations, you can achieve this with a workaround by using Form Calculation Widgets and some custom conditions.

Here’s how you can set it up:

1. Add Hidden Number Fields for Each Amount

For each Configurable List, create a hidden Number field to capture the value entered in its amount field.

You’ll need to use Update/Calculate Field conditions to copy the amount input from the widget into these hidden number fields.



2. Use Update/Calculate Field Conditions


3. For each Configurable List’s amount field, create a condition to copy that number into its respective hidden field.

Example: If [Configurable List - Amount] is filled → Copy value to [Hidden Number Field 1].


4. Add a Form Calculation Widget for the Total.

5. In the widget’s calculation area, add all the hidden number fields together (e.g., Hidden1 + Hidden2 + Hidden3). This will give you the total of all amounts.



6. Display the Total in Your Desired Field

If you want the total in a Short Text field instead, set another Update/Calculate Field condition to copy the value from the calculation widget into the Short Text field.

Thank you for your previous instructions. I understand how to capture values from a Configurable List widget into hidden fields and sum them outside the widget.

However, I would like to calculate a row-level total inside the Configurable List itself, for example:

Item × Discount = Total (per row)

Then I want to sum all the row totals into a single total outside the widget.

Is it possible to perform this per-row calculation within a Configurable List? If yes, could you guide me on how to set it up?

Unfortunately it is not possible to calculate the fields or row inside the Configurable List widget. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it.
