Allow Only One Person to Choose a Slot

I am trying to create sign up sheets for different events. I have figured out how to set it up. However, I only want one person to be able to sign up for each slot. I need for the people signing up to see that that slot is already filled and they need to choose another slot. Please help!

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can consider using the Ticket Purchases widget for the slot selections. This widget allows you to set a limit for each selection. Once the limit is reached, the other form fillers would see that the slot is no longer available.

I can show you how to set it up. But first, you need to use the basic Name, Email and Phone Number elements. Let me walk you through it:

1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element in the upper-left corner of the page.

2. Under the Basic tab, select Name, Email and Phone.

Now, let's add the Ticket Purchases widget:

1. Click on Add Element again, and go to the Widgets tab.

2. Search for and select Ticket Purchases, then add your desired field label.

3. Click on the widget's Wand icon on the right to open the Widget Settings panel.

4. Under the General tab, enter the slot options into the Ticket type field.

5. Within the curly brackets, enter 1, which is the limit you want to set per option.

6. Once done adding all the options and their limits, click on Update at the bottom.
