I am trying to use my google calendar with the calendar widget in my form.
I added an event to my google calendar and want it to show up as blocked in my form calendar widget, but it is not.
Would you kindly look at the link and guide me so dates in my google calendar show up as not available in the form's calendar widget?
Also, if I select a date in the form's calendar widget I want it to add the date in my google calendar.
The calendar is linked to wyattcsutherland@gmail.com
Here's the form link: https://form.jotform.com/252004212163035

Hi Pierce,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding your Google Calendar integration with the calendar widget, here’s how to sync your Google Calendar events to show as blocked dates in your form and add selected dates back to your Google Calendar:
- Ensure your Google Calendar is properly connected to your form's calendar widget using the correct Google account (wyattcsutherland@gmail.com).
- Enable the calendar sync feature in the widget settings to display your Google Calendar events as unavailable dates.
- Set up two-way sync if you want selected dates in the form to be added to your Google Calendar. This usually requires enabling event creation permissions and configuring the integration accordingly.
If you need detailed steps or run into any issues, please let me know.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Pierce,
If a time slot was already booked in your Google Calendar, it will be grayed out in the appointment field and can no longer be booked. You just need to ensure that the time slot is exactly the same in your appointment field and that you are looking at the correct calendar. The integration is two-way, which means, once a slot is booked and submitted in the form, it will also be booked in the Google Calendar. If it is booked in the Google Calendar, then it will also show as booked in the appointment field and can no longer be selected by other users.
Can you try reloading your calendar as well as your form and see if the booked events reflect on both the form and the Google Calendar?
Let us know how it goes.

I am trying this in preview before I publish the form.
Would this be part of the problem?

Hi Pierce,
Yes, you can check the form in preview to ensure that the booked slots and available slots are showing correctly to your users.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

The answer is, which I just discovered by experimenting, the event on your google calendar MUST be marked as "Busy" so that the date in calendar widget in jotform sees it as taken. If the event is not marked "busy" and it is marked as "Free" then it shows up as available.
Having an event booked in your calendar is fine but it has to be marked as "Busy" so it grays out the jotform calendar widget
