I have just updated a Form and made it better and added conditions but when I preview it (to make sure all conditions are working correctly) it is missing a whole lot of elements and tables. This means the PDF for this form is missing all of these also. Please help.

Hi Jess,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
It sounds like the form preview is not showing all elements and tables, which is also affecting the PDF output. This issue can happen if conditions or elements are not properly configured or if there is a glitch in the preview mode.
Let me help you with that:
- Review your conditions to ensure they are set correctly and not hiding elements unintentionally.
- Check the form elements in the Build tab to confirm all necessary fields and tables are included and visible.
- Test the form in a live environment (not just preview) to see if the issue persists there.
- Verify your PDF settings in the PDF Editor to ensure all form elements are included in the PDF layout.
- Clear your browser cache or try a different browser to rule out any caching issues affecting the preview.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, please provide more details about the conditions or elements missing, and we can assist further.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Jess,
Can you let us know URL of the form that is not working as expected? Also, let us know what fields specifically you wish to show in what cases. It would be useful if you could share screenshots showing the problem. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:
1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.
2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.
3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.
5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi Bojan,
This is the URL - https://form.jotform.com/250117753563860
Here are some screenshots.
The first photo is a section in the build form, the 2nd photo is the same section in the preview. Its missing Is there another restraint.
Another section - Third photo is from the build form and shows Is there another vehicle and then the vehicle details, 4th photo shows what is seen when in preview, its missing is there another vehicle, vehicle details and when I keep scrolling the form it only shows me safety check and some elements are missing.
The following photos are the end of my form.
This is how it is on build, correct and showing everything.
This is the end of my form in preview.
I have tried to get my form to work on my phone app, but it shows up the same as what I see in preview. I have cleared all cache on both my PC and phone.

Hi Jess,
I looked into your form and I can see that it is connected to a condition. Note that these fields will only show if the condition is met. If this is not what you're looking for, can you provide more details about your requirements so I can assist you better?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this

Hi Sheena,
No, this is not what I am talking about. When I go into Edit Form, I can see everything, all the changes, all the fields, when I go to preview form, I can't see everything, fields are missing and this then makes the conditions not work.
I went into my app and went to fill out for this form and it doesn't show correctly either, its the same as the preview on the web page, missing fields. Like the screen shots I posted in my reply, it shows fields and then in preview mode, it doesn't show those fields.

And because the form doesn't show correctly when filling out, I can't get the PDF correct because I don't have all the fields.

Hi Jess,
I checked your conditions, and it appears that you still set up conditions to hide the fields that will only be shown depending on the user's answer with the Is there another restraint and Is there another Vehicle fields. Theses contradict the conditions. To fix this, I suggest disabling all the conditions that you have set up to hide the other fields. Let me show you how to do this:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page and select Conditions from the left side window.
- Tick on all the conditions that has Hide Multiple action.
- Go back to the top of the page and click on Disable.
Here's the result:
Let us know if you need any other help.

The way I thought it worked was they were only hidden if the value was selected, so it should show everything when previewed?
My other form shows everything in the preview and I have its conditions set up like this to hide things if a certain value is selected.
Having the form like this means that the PDF will not show all fields and then it won't show everything. I rely on the PDF's in the submission email to my clients.

Hi Jess,
Note that in PDF if the fields are empty it will be hidden or will not show up in PDF. Can you confirm if you want the empty fields to show in PDF? If yes, you just need to disable the Hide empty form fields feature in PDF Editor. Let me show you how:
- In PDF Editor, click the gear icon on the upper right side of the page.
- Uncheck the option to Hide empty form fields.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
