Hello,
I find I am getting logged out after very short periods of inactivity and sometimes even *during* use of Jotform.
On occasion, also, I sometimes get the message that a folder has no forms in it yet when that is definitely not the case.
Thank you.

Hi Art,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Regarding the logout issue, being signed out after short periods of inactivity or even during active use can sometimes be caused by browser settings or extensions that aggressively clear cookies and session data. It's also possible that having multiple sessions open in different tabs or devices is creating a conflict, resulting in the platform logging you out. Additionally, certain security settings within your Jotform account could be influencing session behavior, so it's worth reviewing those under your account settings. Network instability or temporary connectivity drops may also lead to session timeouts.
As for the folder issue, seeing a message that a folder contains no forms even when you're certain it does may be due to a temporary sync or display anomaly. In most cases, refreshing the page or logging out and back in can resolve this. It's also possible that filters or sorting options are hiding some forms, especially if they’re archived or disabled. If this behavior is happening alongside the logout issue, it might be related to a session timeout as well.
To help resolve both issues, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, disabling any extensions that manage privacy or session behavior, and using a different browser or device for testing. You can also clear your form cache from your Jotform account settings. Although Clearing Your Form Caches isn't done automatically, it's easy to do it manually. Let me show you how:
1. On your My Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.
2. In the dropdown menu, click on Settings.
3. In the Settings menu, click on Clear Cache. And that's it, you're done.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.
