Our student center is hosting a fundraising event. We plan to utilize Jotform for registrations and items purchased. Attendees will RSVP/register for event and purchase even tickets prior to event. Attendees will pre-pay for registration and certain tickets (tickets used for drawings, etc). Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase additional items/tickets during the actual event. If an attendee has registered and paid prior to event, attends events and purchases additional items; does Jotform automatically 'save' that attendee's credit card information making the check-out process seamless? For example: Joe Doe purchases two event tickets and two drawing tickets prior to the event and pays in full. Attends the event and purchases 5 more tickets for a drawing, and forgets to check-out before leaving. Can we use saved credit card information to process the additional 5 tickets?
What reporting is available during and post event? For example: the example above, Joe Doe, purchases event tickets and drawing tickets prior to event, and pays. Attends the event and purchases 5 more drawing tickets. He asks to see a receipt: will the receipt show his previous purchases and paid, as well as current and unpaid purchases? Will those costs be categorized/detailed? We will need to be able to determine total amount purchased and good/service purchased in order to provide tax deducation information for donor.

Hi Bethany,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Jotform does not store or save credit card information due to PCI compliance and security reasons. All payment transactions are processed securely through the integrated payment gateways, and credit card details are not retained by Jotform. This means that if an attendee like Joe Doe makes a purchase prior to the event and later wants to buy additional tickets at the event, their credit card information will not be saved for automatic checkout.
Each payment must be processed separately through the payment gateway at the time of purchase, but you might want to check out Fastlane by PayPal. It offers a faster way to collect payment with Jotform. You can check out our blog on that here.
For reporting during and after the event, Jotform provides detailed transaction information through Jotform Tables. You can see transaction IDs and payment statuses for each submission. However, receipts generated will reflect the specific transaction and payment made at that time. Receipts do not automatically consolidate previous and current purchases into a single document, but you can Filter Entries in Jotform Tables to get all transactions made by a specific user.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
